Thailand: US-funded Mobs To Target City-Wide Mass Transit for Second Day

October 18, 2020 (Tony Cartalucci - ATN) - Anti-government protesters organized by Thailand's billionaire-led opposition and funded by the US government have announced for the second day that they will be targeting city-wide mass transit stations - deliberately obstructing tens of thousands of commuters at peak hours. 


Despite deliberately targeting elevated and subway train stations yesterday knowing for security and safety reasons they will be closed - thus directly impacting daily economic activity - protesters are blaming the government for the closures.

Should the government not close them and violence breaks out - they will likewise be blamed by US-funded agitators.  

Knowing that the government will likely close the stations yet again removes all doubt about the protest organizers' intentions. 

US government-funded Center for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies" (CANVAS) had - as early as 2016 - laid out the playbook for US-funded agitators operating in Thailand to target and undermine both Thailand's economy and specifically ruin its tourist industry. 

By targeting Bangkok's mass transit system they are doing both.

Yesterday's Protests Were Only "Mostly" Peaceful 

Despite claims that yesterday's protest was "peaceful" - there were several episodes of violence including a mob attacking clearly marked and yellow-painted city sewage trucks they somehow mistaken for the blue crowd control vehicles used by police. 


Because of these and previous episodes of recent violence and vandalism as well as armed violence and arson carried out by these same groups in 2010 - extreme caution is exercised in and around areas anti-government protesters target for protests. 

Businesses and mass transit stations are shuttered out of fear of looting and arson as well as out of fears commuters may end up targeted by mobs for not supporting them.

Similar scenes played out in Hong Kong, China. US-funded agitators in Thailand openly admit and model their current activities on unrest carried out in Hong Kong which eventually led to looting, arson, vandalism, and physical attacks on ordinary people refusing to support their activities.
